Vallet Frères Meursault is a refined expression of white Burgundy from the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Hailing from the Meursault AOP, this Chardonnay typically displays a beautiful greenish-gold color, evolving toward a rich bronze with age. Known for its mineral focus, the nose offers subtle hints of incense and spice alongside strong aromas of ripe grapes, butter, honey, and citrus. The palate is elegant and layered, delivering a rich, full-bodied, and "fat" texture that is balanced by plush acidity and a cheerful hazelnut note. The wine requires time to mature, promising a silky balance of unctuousness and freshness. It pairs perfectly with rich poultry like guinea fowl or classic lobster thermidor.
