Westland Solum Edition 1 Whiskey is an innovative and profound expression from the Seattle-based distillery, celebrated for its exploration of terroir in American Single Malt. "Solum" refers to the entire soil profile, underscoring Westland’s deep commitment to grain. This edition showcases a unique, single-farm barley grown in Washington State’s Skagit Valley, which imparts a distinctly rich and earthy character.
Matured in new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels, the whiskey delivers a complex profile of toasted cereal, baking spices, dark chocolate, and damp earth. It represents a bold step in defining American Single Malt, moving beyond traditional methods to celebrate the influence of local agricultural practices. Bottled non-chill filtered, it offers a robust and authentic tasting experience.
