The 2023 release of Writers’ Tears Rare Cask Strength is the 13th edition of this highly anticipated Irish whiskey. This exceptional spirit is a unique vatting of triple distilled, aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskeys, meticulously matured entirely in American bourbon barrels. Bottled at a robust 109.6 proof (54.8% ABV), it delivers a deep and intense profile without chill-filtration.
Experience a complexity that opens with vibrant notes of fresh cut grass and subtle chocolate, evolving into a fruity and gently drying palate featuring distinct orange slices and a lingering note of ripe peach. This powerful yet elegant cask strength expression is a true celebration of classic Irish whiskey heritage.
