Zahel Nussberg Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC is an elegant and expressive white wine that perfectly captures the unique terroir of Vienna. This prestigious Gemischter Satz, which translates to "field blend," is crafted from six grape varieties grown together in the renowned Nussberg vineyard, featuring sandy loam and loess soils over limestone.
The wine is spontaneously fermented and aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, resulting in a bright, balanced profile. Look for inviting notes of fresh white peach, apricot (Marille), and pineapple, complemented by well-integrated acidity. With a medium-bodied, fruity finish, this is an incredibly food-friendly wine, making it an excellent pairing for traditional dishes like Wiener Schnitzel.
