Zedda Piras Mirto Rosso is a traditional Sardinian liqueur, celebrated for its rich, aromatic profile derived from the berries of the wild myrtle plant (*Myrtus communis*). This iconic digestivo is made by macerating the dark purple myrtle berries in pure alcohol, followed by the addition of a sugar syrup, capturing the essence of the Mediterranean island.
The resulting liqueur boasts a deep ruby red hue and a complex bouquet of resinous herbs, spice, and sweet dark fruit, reminiscent of Mediterranean scrubland. On the palate, it is velvety smooth, balancing the sweetness of the syrup with the naturally tart and slightly bitter notes of the myrtle berry.
