Zignum Reposado Mezcal is a superior expression, aged for at least eight months in American white oak barrels—exceeding the required minimum for a Reposado. This maturation process imparts added character and complexity to the spirit.
Distilled from cooked, ground, and fermented agave, Zignum Reposado boasts a clean, medium gold color. On the nose, it offers delicate notes of honey and vanilla. The palate is smoothly balanced, presenting a harmonious fusion of sweet and roasted agave notes. Expect rich flavors of caramel, honey, and vanilla, beautifully offset by bright hints of orange. This reposado is an excellent choice for savoring neat or as the sophisticated base for mezcal cocktails.
