Zucca Rabarbaro Liqueur is a classic Italian amaro celebrated for its distinctive bittersweet profile, anchored by the infusion of Chinese rhubarb (Rabarbaro) root. Created in Milan in 1845, this sophisticated liqueur is made by extracting the rhubarb's essence along with a secret blend of herbs and spices, then filtering and sweetening the mixture. The resulting spirit features a deep, smoky aroma and a complex palate that balances the earthiness of the rhubarb with subtle notes of spice, citrus peel, and caramel. Its moderate sweetness and high complexity make it an excellent digestivo.
